At the 皇冠体育国际娱乐 for Ecology & Hydrology we鈥檙e proud to announce that three of our scientists have been named Highly Cited Researchers, according to the list from the Web of Science Group, released this week.
Ecologist Professor James Bullock, Climate Modeller Professor Chris Huntingford and Head of the Biological Records 皇冠体育国际娱乐 Dr David Roy are on the list, which includes 6,216 researchers in various fields from nearly 60 nations.
The highly anticipated list identifies scientists and social scientists who produced multiple papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their field and year of publication, demonstrating significant research influence among their peers.
The methodology that determines the who鈥檚 who of influential researchers draws on the data and analysis performed by bibliometric experts from the Institute for Scientific Information at the Web of Science Group.
Professor Mark Bailey, Director of the 皇冠体育国际娱乐 for Ecology & Hydrology, said: "I'm delighted to see three of our experts recognised as highly cited researchers. This is a reflection of the hard work that all our researchers do on a daily basis, ensuring we carry out excellent science with impact."

The Highly Cited Researchers list contributes to the identification of that small fraction of the researcher population that contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge.
