elements is a R package containing ecological niche models for the most prevalent vascular plants, bryophytes, and terricolous lichens in the European Vegetation Archive (EVA) (Chytrý et al., 2016).

elements was created with two primary goals in mind: 1) to extract insights into the ecological niches of the modelled species, to aid ecological understanding; and 2) to provide the capability to generate predictions of habitat suitability considering multiple interacting environmental drivers.
